Our Administration Team
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! It is my privilege to be the Principal at Rudy Elementary. I am thrilled to welcome all of the new families to our school! This is my 30th year in education, and I still get so excited for school to start!! Here is my background:
I received my Bachelors of Education in Elementary Education in 1987 from Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota. I taught 4th grade for two years, and then moved to Bellevue, NE. I taught 5th grade and 7th/8th grade, both at Catholic schools. I then took time off to have and raise my three children for seven years. After that time, I was hired to teach 3rd grade at Falcon Elementary in D49. I eventually got my Master’s Degree in Administration, becoming a Literacy Coach for two years and an Assistant Principal for five years, both at Falcon Elementary. I was hired as the Principal at Queen Palmer Elementary in D11 for 8 years. This year marks my 6th year at Rudy Elementary.

Rudy has many after-school clubs (Typing, Young Environmental Stewards/YES Club, Choir) as well as Student Council, Cross Country, and Basketball! There are so many opportunities for our students in which to participate! Parents can also join the PTA and are also invited once a month for a 2nd Cup of Coffee with the Principal. Starbucks provides the coffee and we provide bagels from Einstein’s! Come and see what great things are happening at Rudy!
Hello, my name is Chad Molina and I am extremely excited to be the new Assistant Principal at Rudy Elementary School. I received my Bachelors in Elementary Education in 2008 from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. I taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade, and was a school wide math interventionist at Otero Elementary School for nine years. After that, I taught at-risk students at Doherty High School for three years. I spent that last three years working in District 11’s Education Insights Department working to support schools with improvement efforts. I have been married for twenty-six years to my wonderful wife Emily, and we have two children. I love hiking and golfing with my son and going to comic-cons and concerts with my daughter. I am looking forward to helping to make Rudy the best possible school for our students, families, teachers, and staff!
