ABOUT US
At Rudy Elementary School, we foster a daily love for learning among students and a passion for teaching among our educators. Nestled in a vibrant northeast Colorado Springs neighborhood with a stunning view of Pikes Peak, Rudy Elementary proudly carries the legacy of Anna M. Rudy—the first female principal in Colorado Springs.
Serving preschool through 5th grade, our school offers personalized learning driven by high-quality instruction and seamless technology integration. We empower students to become creative, collaborative, innovative, and adaptable thinkers—well-prepared for the challenges of the 21st century.
Rudy Elementary is distinguished by its strong academic performance, earning accolades such as the Accreditation of Distinction, the Governor's Bright Spot Award for Science, and recognition for our award-winning educators. Beyond academics, our robust enrichment programs include Music, Art, Theater, Physical Education, Band, and Orchestra. We proudly serve diverse learners through Gifted and Talented and Special Education programs.
Our campus also provides on-site before- and after-school daycare and a variety of extended-day opportunities, including Student Council, Choir, Battle of the Books, Typing Club, Robotics, and Cross Country. An active Parent Teacher Association (PTA) helps strengthen our community through cultural events and family engagement.
At Rudy, we embrace the Capturing Kids' Hearts (CKH) program, cultivating authentic, positive relationships among students and staff. We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive school culture where everyone is supported and inspired to grow. Each day, we strive to make Rudy Elementary a welcoming home for learning—for every student, every family, and every team member.
